This is where the Hidden Leaf Village is located. It is the major ninja village in the Land of Fire. The village has just resisted an attack dealt from Orochimaru.

This is where the Hidden Grass Village is located. Hidden Grass is a lower shinobi village, being allied with Leaf, Rain, Sand and Waterfall. As this is so, it participates in the Chuunin Exam with these countries.

This is where the Hidden Sand Village is located. The major city, where Gaara the new Kazekage resides along with most of the Land's inhabitants.

Iwagakure is located in the Land of Earth. There are many mountains and caves dotted about the country.

This is where the Hidden Mist Village is located. The main village is in the set of islands that make up the Land of Water.

This is where the Hidden Sound Village is located. Orochimaru is the current leader of this newly formed village governs this land with an iron fist.

This is where the Hidden Rain Village is located. Konoha Chuunin Rokushou Aoi left Konoha to join Hidden Rain. As a gift he brought a Konoha Jounin scroll of sealing and the Second Hokage's Raijin sword. The Rain country is one of the mostly unrevealed lands in the series.

This is where the Hidden Waterfall Village is located. The village itself sits along a lake waterfront.

The Hidden Cloud is one of the more powerful ninja villages in the world, allowing its leader to be called a "Kage." As such it is one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries.

The Star Village was formed sometime after a strange meteorite, which they call the "star", struck its location 200 years previous. No trees or plants could grow around the vicinity after it landed.

Little is known about this village at the time. The snow is subsequently melted and the country it is located in has been renamed the Land of Spring.
