Name: Hydra Clone RankGenin Chakra Cost: 35 per clone Damage: This jutsu cannot injure anything. Effects: This gets complicated: This clone can't hurt things. It can only touch landscape objects{trees, ground, boat.} It may not interact with anything but user, and other clones. When destroyed by something it reappears. When chakra is used to destroy it, it will make another clone upon reappearing per every 25 chakra used. Example: I summon clone, opponent uses jutsu that costs 50 chakra. My clone blocks and is destroyed, three clones reappear. Note: If the taijutsu attack uses chakra, that will also translate into extra clones per every 40 chakra used. Note: even if destroyed without chakra, 1 will return Note: My Personal Meat Sheilds, no more no less. How Do Other's Learn It: Clan jutsu, clan members only. Cost Given on start
Name: Feedback Seal RankGenin Chakra Cost: 50 per seal Damage: See effects Effects: Used on an opponent in conjunction with Hydra clone. Once placed on an opponent, any attack that hits one of my clones that uses chakra, will act just like with the hydra clone, BUT, any unused chakra, {30 chakra used on clone, makes another clone, 5 chakra left} is returned to the owner, but it does 2 times damage as chakra returned. {5 chakra returned will do 10 damage/} How Do Other's Learn It: Anyone can learn it, but only people with hydra clone can really use it, so it would be kind of pointless. Costgiven on start
Name: Gahndi seal Rank Chunin Chakra Cost: 100 Damage: full health Effects: Used on opponent, when you pass out, so do they, a last ditch effort to prevent an utter loss. If you die, the seal ends before it can effect your opponent. How Do Other's Learn It: Clan Only Cost5,000 yen
Name: Sacrifice Rank Chunin Chakra Cost: 0 Damage: 0 Effects: Destroys a users Hydra Clone, and has 20 Chakra returned. "I don't need 30 clones, but I could use 100 chakra, bye bye 5 clones hello 100 chakra." How Do Other's Learn It: Anyone can learn, but pointless without hydra clone. Cost2500 yen

Not sure about Sacrifice or the Ghandi seal, though I appreciate both and kinda like them. I'd like a second opinion from a mod/admin, cause I'm thinking they'd have to change, but I like your character idea, so hopefully they wont change much. Sacrifice seems a little strong.
I would normally say limit the Hydra clone to one original at any time (like, you can't use the jutsu twice in a round and have two of them), but the fact that they can't urt anything kinda makes me inclined to allow it. Can they grapple, i.e. pin an opponent? Can an opponent get trapped by a mass of them?

They can't touch any weapons or even the opponent, when they do, they poof like a shadow clone, but then come back together instantly, the poof stops attacks, that's the point. If you had enough they could form a dome around a opponent and when he tried to get out, it would constantly push back, but that would require 50 or so...

Fair enough, don't change the clone or the feedback.
Still, I wanna second opinion on the Ghandi seal and Sacrifice though. Sacrifice, maybe alright on it's own, but Ghandi seal is like the Twin-Snake Assassination, but on a Fuin jutsu instead of a ninjutsu. It's cost is high enough, but still, even a genin could reliably use it and then go nuts.... eh, maybe, The first two look fine though.

Well, to begin with, I dont think that taijutsu (requiring chakra) should bring more than one clone back. I mean, if you think about it, (other than the hyuga clan and few others) using chakra for a taijutsu simply strenthens the body/ makes them faster so they can actually perform the attack. During most taijutsu, the chakra used for it doesnt actually touch the target. Therefore, no chakra can get transmitted to the clone. What do you think arashi? For the feedback seal, I also think that is fine as long as taijutsu isnt included. As for the Gahndi seal, you didnt explain how it worked... so im not exactly sure about that one. Plus, there is really no difference from the twin snake assassination, so i dont think we should have it, unless you can explain it extremely well. The last one is fine. Also, as Arashi said, you should only be able to make (with your character) one clone. After that, you shouldnt be able to make any more. Also, none of these are accepted until you put a rank and how much money it costs.

What do you mean by rank and cost? It wasn't in the outline, I didn't think it was necessary.
So for the taijutsu, it works like this. These clones operate on a vacuum, the chakra inside spiraling down toward the center point, think of it kind of like gravity. There is a thin outer shell. Because the chakra wants to go to the middle, but there is already chakra there, when it comes in contact, it momentarily POOFS and then the vacuum reforms it. Added chakra obviously over fills the clone, so at 25 chakra, it splits the vacuum and there are two. Now, with this in mind, any force above and beyond what you could do physically, open the gates for ungodly strength, things like that, would still put alot of pressure on the clones. This would cause the chakra to condense faster and then suck up chakra faster. Due to this, any chakra residue left over from the taijutsu would allow the clone to replicate, due to the extreme pressure put on it. But, now that you say something, It should take like 40 chakra to make another clone from a taijutsu, because before that, the added chakra wouldn't be enough to physically condense the clones vacuum.
I really don't know why I shouldn't be allowed to make more than one clone, if I needed two clones because, well the opponent just keeps trying to punch me, it would be nice to have more than one defense, because the clone couldn't duplicate in that situation.
For the Ghandi seal, I was actually thinking about Wabbuffet, spirit bond. Just a move that insures that the opponent can't wipe you completely, I will be happy to remove the die part, that way it is less like an assassination more like an incapacitation.

Im going to change the outline, so you should do so also. With the extra chakra for the taijutsu, that makes MORE sense, so it will be ok. As for the clones, exactly how long does it take for them to come back (Such as reappearing or duplicating)? Does it happen instantly or does it take a turn?

Well, it is near instant, it would be by the next move, but I could only move the clones once per turn, so unless the opponent attacks the same exact place twice, he could break past a single clone. I'll give them a cost and rank.

Ok, i guess I approve.... But for the feedback seal, the max damage that should be done to the opponent for taijutsu is 50 (total).

Ketsueki, you aren't staff. You...... am I missing something? You don't approve things if you aren't staff.....
And if you're not staff or the original poster, please don't post in their thread........
Did I miss something though? ================================================ The thing about the "the opponent just keeps trying to punch me, it would be nice to have more than one defense, because the clone couldn't duplicate in that situation." thing is that it's the jutsu's inherent weakness; no chakra damage, no duplicate. If an opponent figured that out (remember IC or in character knowledge vs. OC or out of character knowledge; their ninja wont automatically know), they kinda deserve to overcome it. And in that situation, they'd simply bust through them and beat you anyway, with the clones being unable to stop them, so having multiples wouldn't help at all.
Ghandi seal looks better with the lack of an "I Die, You Die" clause, because Gary Numan was very not ninja.

Sorry, that was supposed to be me. One of my cousins from oregon came over and made a character. He forgot to sign out, and I wasnt paying much attention so I accidently posted it with his character. But I still approve it.

But my character is supposed to excel at stalemates, if they can blow past with such an obvious weakness it would be almost pointless.

I see your point, but at the same time, a character who excels at assassination and instant kills has little use of a jutsu if it isn't guaranteed to kill the person outright. No jutsu is without an inherent weakness, just like no ninja is without, as the naruto-verse proves time and time again.
Plus, taijutsu being stronger doesn't mean your opponents will have a wealth of taijutsu to use against you; actually, we've always had very few taijutsu and genjutsu users, as everyone wants ninjutsu. You'll still tie/win a wealth of duels, and for the first half of your career (genin+early chunin) it's highly unlikely that you'll be killed for losing, so no worries about risking your character.

Um, I don't think you understand, against taijutsu I would still get some extra clones, the problem is when a ninjutsu user goes, "Wait, he can't fight back unless I attack first," and walks up to me and punches me in the face. Like you said, an assassination user won't really need a non assassination technique, and a defensive technique with such a blatant hole would be pointless for a stalemate fighter. I designed my character to only be able to fight back with these clones, I fully expected to use the clones as my only defence, which in turn would wear out my opponent, and then I could finish them with my EXTREMEMLY lackluster punches, kicks, and the only attack ninjutsu I will probably have till I'm a high chunin/low jounin, which is fire breath no jutsu. The clones stop momentum that collides with them, and absorb excess amounts, so even if my amount of clones is limited to the chakra I have at hand, and not my opponents attacks, I should be able to survive if I could manipulate 4-5 clones, which would cost me about 140-175 chakra.
